I’m happiest when creating and improving web products and creating exceptional experiences. There’s something incredibly satisfying about how elements on the screen enhance and influence a User’s experience while guiding them through a seamless flow that effortlessly meets their needs. Whether refining the layout and content architecture, perfecting the copy, or experimenting with new features, I’m committed to improving how users engage with digital platforms and ensuring each web product meets its KPIs!
Ultimately, the elements on the screen should support every interaction, click, and scroll to form a complete story that compels the User to move forward on the path they’re looking for.
I started producing my first web product, the SEGA of America Intranet, in 1996 just after the Internet became “a thing”.
I’ve been creatively combining design and information professionally for over 25 years.
For this major hair-care client, I was tasked with creating an engaging content hub to replace the existing website. The brand was looking to do something fun and out of the ordinary that would appeal to Gen Z.
I defined a content hierarchy and interactions tailored to their target Gen-Z audience using data on consumer interests, combined with a list of desired keywords and long-tail phrases focused on specific hair-care concerns.
The resulting content design provides opportunities for playful interactions, using keywords and phrases to guide Users to what's important to them, while providing educational content upfront, with improved PDPs that capture Users through product-specific search while increasing engagement of the WTB tool.
You can tell a lot about an employer by the level of support they dedicate to their intranet; A great intranet can make tasks at work more efficient & personal lives easier.
Over the years, I’ve acted in a variety roles including Web Producer, Web Product Manager, Senior Web Content Manager, and Front-end WordPress Developer – I always bring this question with me “How can I best guide the User to the information we want them to find?”
I like technology; I love my Macs, but I’m typing this copy on the gaming computer I built to play The Sims, a game I’ve been playing for over 20 years.

MS Office: Outlook, OneNote, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, OneDrive, Sharepoint
SFTP: Filezilla, Cyberduck
One of my favorite collaborative meeting tools is the Lean Coffee method.
I’m great with templates in Word and can create killer animations in PowerPoint. I use animations to enhance understanding and acceptance of technical topics (ask me about preparing trial slides).
Adobe Creative Cloud: You could call me an Adobe nerd, I been working with their products including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Animate, Premiere Pro, Media Encoder, and XD for over 20 years.
Plus: InVision, Mural, Sketch, Camtasia, and Canva
Sketching and outlining with pen & paper or creating card sorts with Post-its cannot be overrated. I’m also a huge fan of idea boards; I like Pinterest and Milanote.
I’m comfortable in:
My experience with WordPress includes theme development, Gutenberg, and page builders like Elementor, and integration of Advanced Custom Fields.
HTML, CSS, PHP, JSON, XML – I don’t consider myself a Developer but this knowledge comes in handy on web projects.

Project Management Tools and Methods: I’ve worked in environments using Kanban, JIRA, and Scrum methodology.
I love building connections with my peers and working collaboratively with teams.
I’m most comfortable and successful when working remotely and have done so on and off since the early 2000s.
I like digging into research and learning new things.
I enjoy sharing knowledge and am confident running training sessions and presenting to a group.
I expect some of these may look familiar to you; Over the years I’ve worked for some great companies and supported some recognizable brands.
